Nneka Joseph | Build Wisely

I'm Nneka Joseph.

I ask a lot of questions.

I’m always looking for answers. Especially the ones that are easy to miss, but explain so much once you see them.

I want to understand what sits underneath our belief systems. Why certain ideas survive unchallenged even when they aren't producing good fruit. How seemingly insignificant choices become habits, and how those habits quietly shape who we become. And what allows some people to endure what seems unsurvivable while other lives eventually collapse.

By profession, I'm a solutions architect. I'm also a wife, mother, and Christian.

Those parts of my life may seem unrelated, but they have all taught me something about paying attention.

I've spent years thinking about how to make just about everything work better and run smoother. I enjoy studying systems, particularly how disparate processes connect, where they break down, and what can be done about it.

God has taught me how to pursue many of those same answers about my own life. He’s taught me how to pay attention to what is happening beneath the surface and to seek understanding through His presence and His Word.

I don't think every question needs an immediate answer. And I don't think certainty is necessarily evidence of wisdom.

I do think truth matters.

I think foundations matter.

And I think we should be willing to examine what we're building and, more importantly, what is building us.
